Privacy Policy

Last updated:

M-Cohen Bakery Processing Machinery respects your privacy. This document explains what information this website collects, why, who processes it and what your rights are. It is written to describe what the site actually does.

1.Who is responsible

The site owner and data controller is M-Cohen Bakery Processing Machinery, business registration no. 057250128, of 14 HaMashbir St., Holon, Israel.

For any privacy matter write to miracohen158@walla.co.il or call +972-3-5188053.

2.What we collect

Information you provide through the contact form:

  • Full name and phone number — required, so that we can get back to you
  • Email address — optional
  • The content of your message

Information collected automatically while you browse:

  • The page you entered the site through and the page the enquiry was sent from
  • The site you came from (referrer), if you arrived via an external link
  • Advertising campaign parameters, if you arrived through an ad — source, medium, campaign name, search term and the Google Ads click identifier
  • Your IP address, used to rate-limit submissions and prevent abuse of the form. It is not stored alongside the enquiry
  • The name of the product whose page you submitted the form from

The site does not collect sensitive data, does not request payment details and does not operate user accounts.

3.Why we collect it

To reply to you with an answer or a quotation. This is the primary purpose, and without it we cannot handle your enquiry.

To understand which ads and searches produce genuine enquiries, so that advertising budget is spent sensibly. This is our legitimate interest as a business and does not involve identifying you personally for advertising purposes.

To keep a record of enquiries for follow-up and service.

4.Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies:

  • mc_ft and mc_lt — stored for up to 90 days, recording which source you first and most recently arrived from. They do not identify you personally and are not used to serve advertising
  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers whether you chose Hebrew or English
  • Google Analytics cookies — loaded only on the production version of the site, used to measure traffic. For visitors from the EU and the UK they are denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2)
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — sets a short-lived technical cookie to confirm the form was submitted by a person and not a bot

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the attribution cookies will not affect your use of the site or your ability to send an enquiry.

5.Who else sees the data

We do not sell data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. We use service providers that process data on our behalf only:

  • Vercel — hosting and serving the website
  • Supabase — the database where enquiries are stored
  • Resend — sending the email that notifies us of a new enquiry, and the confirmation email to you
  • Google — Analytics and Ads, for measuring advertising performance
  • Cloudflare — protection against automated form submissions

We will also disclose information where required by law or court order.

6.International transfers

Some of our providers operate servers outside Israel, so information may be stored or processed abroad, including in the European Union and the United States. These providers operate under contractual data protection commitments.

7.How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they remain relevant to the business relationship and for record-keeping and service purposes. You may request deletion at any time and we will comply unless a legal obligation requires us to retain the data.

Aggregated measurement data in Google Analytics is retained according to the retention policy configured in the account.

8.Your rights

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law you may review the information held about you, request its correction if inaccurate, and request its deletion.

If you are resident in the European Union you also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to receive your data in a portable format, to request restriction of processing and to object to processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address or telephone number above.

9.Marketing communications

Submitting the form constitutes consent for us to contact you regarding your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list and do not send promotional messages without separate consent, in accordance with Israeli communications law.

10.Security

The site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The enquiries table is protected so that it cannot be accessed from the browser — all reads and writes take place server-side only, using a key that is never exposed to site visitors.

No system is entirely immune, but we take reasonable and accepted measures to protect the information.

11.Changes to this policy

We will update this document if the way we collect information changes. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of the page.
